Is it possible for iDrive 8.5 to connect to Internet in different country?

I have a BMW X7 2024 with iDrive 8.5.

Now, due to my work, I brought my car to another country. Unfortunately the iDrive can't connect to the Internet there.

Is there any work around? For example, let iDrive connect to the wifi hotspot of my smart phone, replace the SIM card of the car, etc..

No. It is impossible
In order to have internet in the car
You have to have connected drive services active.
Thats the only way.
Mercedes and porsche can get internet via wifi from your phone

Check your myBMW app and see if eSIM activation is available for your car through the app.
