I never thought I’d be writing this post so soon, but here we are. Today was a bittersweet moment for me as I had to part ways with my 2024 BMW M4 Competition xDrive. It was truly one of the most incredible cars I’ve ever owned—its blend of raw power, precision handling, and everyday usability made it the perfect companion for so many great memories.

Unfortunately, my new 2025 Aston Martin Vantage just arrived, and while it’s an absolute dream car in its own right, it came at the cost of saying goodbye to the M4. I knew this day was coming, but it didn’t make it any easier when I handed over the keys.

The M4 was more than just a car—it was an experience. From its aggressive styling to that intoxicating exhaust note, it never failed to put a smile on my face. And while the Vantage brings its own unique flavor of driving joy, there’s something about the M4’s character that’s already left a void.

I can’t deny how excited I am about the Vantage, but I’ve already caught myself missing the M4. That’s why I’m making a promise to myself: I plan to add another new BMW to the stable later this year. The M lineup is just too special to stay away from for long.

To anyone considering an M4 Competition xDrive—don’t hesitate. It’s a masterpiece of engineering and passion, and I’m sure my next BMW will have a tough time living up to its legacy.
