Suggested New Year Resolution

How about users stop attaching ENORMOUS photos when showing something or asking for help. MUCH smaller photos will almost always do it; that way we won't feel like we're searching for Tiger tanks in occupied France when scrolling through your photos.

Is there a way to accomplish this while creating a post (i.e. thru the manage attachments window or preview) like some other forums allow?
Or does one always have to manipulate the image on their end & saveas prior to uploading?
