Is there any chance the g87 will get different color interior options like the other models?

About to put in an order for an m2 but damn those interior colors of the m3 are just so gorgeous it’s pulling me in that direction.

Do you think the m2 will ever get options like this? Have they given any hints maybe?

No, they won't. They did it on purpose. If you want M3/4 interiors then they want you to pay up to get those cars. They remove the only nonblack interior for the 2025 model year.

The M2 is the budget M car.

Think of it as a "stripper" with a few options.

If you want choice in paint (120+ individual colors) and choice of interior colors it's an M3/4.

I actually enjoy my 73k M2 more than I enjoyed my 155k M8

It’s just way more fun to drive (in my opinion)

The M8 is so damn sexy. It’s big but man…looks so good. Wish they could make that 180” long.

At first I thought that both pics were of your garage and then realized that your garage would have to be the entrance to Narnia to pull that off lol

Agree. The M2 is the bargain "M" in the line up. Most of the same components (as I look under my car nearly everything is stamped G80 or M4), pretty much the same performance, better looks (subjective) for less money.

Agreed.
The key word is Bargain not Budget.
For what you get it’s a really good value.

It definitely is a bargain and BMW limits options because they know it cannibalizes M4 sales.

I was reading statistics and the manual transmission take rate on the M2 is almost 50%. It's definitely an enthusiasts car.

Manual was for sure the primary selling point for getting this over something else. I reeeeally want a G80 M3, but I think I’ll enjoy that larger body style more in a Competition xDrive trim. I still plan to get one next, but wanted to first get a smaller, more tossable manual RWD car

This for sure. Don't think I could break down for an M4 based on looks alone. M3 CS, yes but when I specced one, sticker shock took over...

For me it was less sticker shock and more looks.

I have an i4 M50 and I don't want another car that looks like my current car.

The M2 reminds me of my old E30 M3.

The only thing I feel I am missing is ventilated seats. But if you truly want a different color, you can always go aftermarket. It used to be pretty expensive but is much more affordable and would still be less expensive than going the M4 route.

The M3 CS is not bad looks wise but over $125k before mods...its just not worth it
