I am looking for a pinout diagram of the following part:

I am trying to retrofit my X3 with a used one of these. I have the base model one with out the auto dimming and homelink. I am not really going for the homelink (would be a nice addition if I can do it) but wanting to do the auto dimming.

I just want to make sure when I plug in the new one, the wire harness in the current configuration is compatible.

Ok, so I found a 5k page service manual that has the diagrams! It looks like things will work but for the auto dimming, I may need to add some additional wires. I am not afraid to touch electrical stuff and wire harnesses (I don't do mechanical repairs though)

Just wanted to reach out though and see if anyone else has tried something like this
