Trying on 18x11 track wheels

Finally found some 18x11+9 that will have at least 3mm clearance on our giant front calipers.
Decided to try them out on track with 295/35R18 RE-71RS. I’ve been running 305/30R19 on 19x11 but the 18s have better side wall support and suit my 6mt gearing a little more on track.
First thing I felt is during corner entry and mid corner, the tire felt more stiffer, and more responsive, but the track temperature was very cold so I didn’t push it to the limit, when it gets warmer I’ll go back again and do a side by side comparison with 295/35-18 vs 305/30-19.

If anyone interested , can watch my lap on YouTube

Thanks
