Will Interior Color Options Change in 26?

Currently have a '22 M340, and I've sold myself on ordering an M2 soon. Looks like an amazing car. But I'm a little underwhelmed with the lack of interior color choices available. Does anyone know if BMW plans to expand the color choices in 26, perhaps alongside the xDrive option?

Slim chance, would make it too competitive with the M4. That being said, I'd take my loaded M2 over a loaded M4 any day. I think the two cars achieve different things and target different crowds.

I promise you won't notice your interior when you're driving it like an M car should be driven.

If you want more color options for exterior and interior you're stuck getting an M4

I could see that. I'm sold on the M2 regardless of the interior color selection. You get the S58 in a sexy little package. And I'm loving the new purple that's available, that's what made me turn my head and say "yep I'm getting one".
Trying to decide if I want to sit it out until xDrive becomes available and see what that prices out to, or just get a manual now. I may get a manual anyway. Decisions, decisions.

I could be wrong but I've seen various posts mentioning that xDrive will not be available with a manual gearbox (same case with the upcoming G87 CS).

There's no telling for sure but BMW seems unwilling to make changes to the manual (same one they used in F series) and pairing it with xDrive would likely take some modification.

There are no xDrives sold with a manual and haven’t been for years. That will not be an option.

Oh it won't be. My wording was a little confusing. I do like AWD and adaptive cruise, but I also like snickty-snicking through the gears. And there aren't going to be much in the way of manual options industry-wide soon.
Leaning towards a manual.

this is all speculation, but theres also the possibility the xdrive automatic will be the only configuration available when its introduced. now, there was also word that the LCI G80/2 wouldnt have a manual- proved to be false. there was also rumor that next M3 would be electric only- currently appears to be false. but if you are like me, and absolutely need a 6 speed, i would order while i have certainty.

I've read that too. I'm staying on top of things, so if they announce no MT in 26 I'll still have time to order a 25. I hope.
Right now I'd like to see what the pricing is going to be with xdrive before I pull the trigger.

I would assume about a $10k step up in price. The difference between a M4 and M4 xDrive Competition is $10k to the base.
