M2 LCI Considering Selling (Australia - Sydney)

Hi, I am just about to take delivery of 2025, M2. Frozen Grey with carbon bucket seats. I am seriously considering changing to the M4 so thought I would see if anyone is interested. PM please if interested. Car will be picked up 17th of Feb. If someone did buy before this date, I am happy for them to have the pick up new car experience. Not desperate, no finance etc, so no agents or low ballers please.

You can refuse delivery, and skip all this. If im reading your post correctly . Unless you’re trying to do right by your dealer/CA

But even then, if you buy the m4 from them. I doubt theyll be all that mad about canceling the M2

Agree with the above. They'll turn around and sell your M2 within a week. I wouldn't worry about finding a buyer.

Consumer laws in NSW in Australia are not the same as in California, so what can be done for deposit refund, etc, is based on the enforceable contract terms and law there.

just be upfront and have a conversation with the dealer, most of hte time they will return the deposit - if you wait till the last minute and try, then its not going to work very well

The car is already paid for and documents signed. Also, dealer and BMW have been amazing to deal with so will follow through on the transaction.

Out of curiosity, when did you order your car? Ordered mine 15th Aug and still waiting.

It arrived at docks 20th Jan but seems to be stuck.

Cheers

Sorry for the delay. There is a considerable backlog at most dealers. Guessing you already have it?

Out of interest is this standard in Australia? Sign all documents and pay for a new car prior to it's arrival at dealership?

Thanks.
