Are you a BMWCCA member?

Just curious, please post reasons for joining versus procrastination.

Yes. Good reading, and you save $$ on parts/purchase of new car.

It's worth it for Roundel alone.

Joined after I got my first BMW a 94 325i. Being I lease my cars, it's worth every penny of the $40. Every 3 yrs or so, I get a check for 500 bucks.

Total of 2000 bucks so far. Comes in handy now that we have run-flats.
Worth the price for the Roundel alone...real nice mag.

So, people keep saying it's worth it for Roundel alone, but after a couple of months (prior to today I said that too), I don't really even read the articles. I look at the pretty pictures sometimes, but most of the news is old stuff.

I enjoy reading through the classifieds though. The CCA is more about events, and I haven't been to one yet.

Nope - gotta be a member for a year before any purchase qualifies you for a rebate. Maybe for your NEXT bimmer

I voted "long time", but it's only been a year. I joined when I bought my E90, but before I discovered this forum. Just renewed. It's worth the annual membership just to read Jonathan Spira's articles! Everything else is bonus.

Great. Since we're having a membership drive, join now and I get a brownie point if you use my membership number (36024) as referrer.

Just go to the CCA web site and sign up

(The brownie point is an extra raffle drawing I believe)

I joined back in 96 when I got my first BMW. I got $500 for my E46 330 and $1000 when I bought the X5 and I'm looking forward to the $500 that I should be getting any day now for this car

But I have a five digit number, 36024
- much easier for a new member to type in.

I knew I should have kept up my original membership. Somehow it didn't seem right after I sold the 2002tii and bought an old Datsun 510 wagon. And then I had issues when BMWs became yuppiemobiles. Just saw a VW ad, claiming lowest ego emissions. Yeah, right.
Besides, they don't have to type any number in with my system, just click the link and go.
