Official NHL 2008-2009 Season Thread!
Well it seems knowone has posted up an official Hockey thread for this year.
Lets here some predicitons and updates from your local and favorite teams!! Here in San Jose the Sharks obliterated the Anaheim Ducks 4-1. Former Rocket Richard Trophy winner Johnathan Cheechoo scored 2 goals in Game 1 of the season. While the other 2 goals were scored by Devon Setoguchi, and Christian Ehrhoff. The Sharks look to have opened this season wide open by obliterating their Pacific Division Rival Ducks. We will see how this season plays out, but if they can do what they did last night. I can see a Stanley Cup on the horizon. |

Heinz! Great idea!
Three very important words...Let's go Blues! Checketts/Davidson/Pleau/Murray have them going in the right direction. It sucks about Eric Johnson, but Oshie, Berglund, Perron, Pietrangelo, and Junland all are reasons to be excited. |

L.A didn't deserve to win last nights game. The two goals were disallowed. Can't wait to see how this season pans out.

So Blues vs Kings last night - Sarah Palin comes in to drop the puck, and they rolled out the carpet for her. When the Blues came out of the locker room, all-star Manny Legacy tripped on the carpet, and ended up with a hip injury. Might be out for a little bit. Oh, and the Blues lost to LA 4-0. I don't think the McCain-Palin ticket gained any voters because of that mess .
(I hope this isn't considered too political :wink. |

Habs lost their first in regulation tonight, against the Ducks of all teams. But 5-1-1 is a good start.
