CS Engine Flash on Latest BMW Software (11/2025.30+)

Good news everyone — we’ve officially cracked it.

We are now able to flash the CS engine calibration on the latest BMW software versions (11/2025.30 and above). This means the CS engine flash is no longer limited to cars on older software. Even if your vehicle is fully up to date, you can still get the CS Engine flash without any issues.

OEM-style flash, just like previous CS Flashes

The same CS engine flash products are available in my webstore.

• Standalone DME Engine Flash: https://bimmer-remote.com/products/c...for-bmw-g87-m2
• Flashing Bundle for G87 : https://bimmer-remote.com/products/f...for-bmw-m2-g87

If you guys have any questions - feel free to ask here or through my webstore / info@bimmer-remote.com

Does this work and offer benefits on a 2025 G87 Manual that already has a Dinan piggyback tuner?

Yes, exactly as before — more sound, the high-speed limiter removed, improved throttle mapping, etc. There are plenty of threads available detailing user experiences.

Nice. Mainly just wanted to confirm compatibility with the piggyback I already have. Purchasing now!

We wouldn’t describe this as a rip. Significant time and resources were invested in research, development, and extensive testing to ensure the solution is safe and works as intended.

So going forward with all future updates the price is going to remain significantly higher?

If you’ve already purchased from me, you only pay a reapplication fee, which is 40% of the original price—so no, it’s not higher. The higher fee applies only to those who haven’t had it before. I think that’s more than fair.

Same answer with a Carbahn Stage 1 controller? Any HP gains over just the Carbahn controller?

I’ve had my car flashed twice already by kubax86. I, for one, am grateful for the effort put into making this available for newer versions. It opens up options for the whole community. Great job!

TL;DR: Just go get this. Stop reading right here and just. Go. Get. This.

The car rips. Well, OEM rips, too. If u have an M car it's already a capable beast. But the CS engine tune from kubax86 gives it more snarl. It wakes everything up. If before my g87 was at an 8 or 9 on a 1-10 scale, it's on 11 now.

Let me back up a bit and say I was one of the unfortunate schmos whose software had been updated to version 11/2025.30. So I was blocked from getting the engine tune two weeks ago when I originally wanted it. I was bummed. Thought it'd be a looong time before a workaround was found, if ever. Shout out to kubax86 and his team for figuring out a solution so quickly. It's working flawlessly.

I scheduled time with kuba. He gave clear instructions beforehand on how I should prepare and was on time for the appointment this morning. End to end, the process took ~20 minutes. He was fantastic.

As for the engine tune, I'm not gonna say anything much different than what many others have already said. The car is more on its toes now. I have an automatic (had the manual before trading it in recently for the auto). If u want a super tame ride, leave the engine in Comfort mode and the lowest transmission setting and it still rides how I imagine a regular 2 series might. But put it into the most aggressive transmission setting, still in Comfort, and u start to feel the extra goodness. It announces itself. Sport mode? Say goodbye to Dr. Jekyll.

Won't say I feel a night and day difference. But it is a substantial one. Everything's punchier. No more lethargy below 3,000 rpm. The engine's brisk and eager all the time. While test driving this morning I opened it up a bit and read the 478 lb-ft (648 Nm) torque number on the screen. The number had never been so high. I smiled at the visual confirmation.

The engine tune pairs very nicely with the other CS flash changes. Can't say I felt a much different steering or suspension feel. The transmission though? Super fast gear changes. Downshift or upshift, every one of them blipped to the next gear, no lag, no sweat.

Car has a total attitude adjustment. Even if you're on the latest software version, schedule something with kuba boys and girls. U won't regret it.

is it true that the DME CS flash has better cooling strategies than the standard ones?

would a CS flash benefit from catless DP?

is there a way to disable O2 monitoring with the CS flash?
Or should-I put O2 spacers with minicats?
