Don't think I ever posted this here... accident photos.
After almost four (long) months, I finally have my car back from the body shop. Some guy on a cellphone was not paying attention to his surroundings and cut right in front of me. He was cited, and I was the one that suffered. The final repair costs came to $28,400. Here is a before pic, and an after pic.

Wow, I'd never want that car back after that kind of damage... good luck ever being able to sell it.

wow 4 months !? that was a long time to get the car repaired. your car doesnt even look that bad. should have taken bout 1 month to fix.

For Mercury, they consider the car totaled once it hits around 75% damaged. I'm assuming it depends on the insurance carrier of whether or not they want to pay to fix it or just total it and cut the owner a check.
