I do believe the term applicable here is "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth".

You get what you pay for - if it had warranty and less miles etc - you really think it'd be that cheap???

Get an extended warranty if it's that much of an issue bro!

right, like you wouldn't want some kind of protection if you were thinking about driving it from LA to Chicago. its not like I'm demanding he go buy a warranty and give it to me for free... i just now need to consider other things a bit more... there are 3 other M3's I found with a few months warranty left selling for around the same price.

The dealership will be buying this M3 back on February 15 (lease ends) so if it doesn't sell before then my friend will take the money BMW is offering and purchase another vehicle
