The "Things we DO like" thread......

Okay, I`m starting this, because I see so many posts on here by people mentioning things they DON`T like about our beloved E9X`s.

Well; how about a mention for the things that we DO like ?

I`ll start off........

The fantastic looks, build quality, interior design and comfort, the handling characteristics, and the amazing performance. All, for me, combine harmoniously to make this one superb car.

Anyone else really like their E9X as well ?

My adaptive lights and main beam assist.

I swerve the car on dual carriageways just to watch the headlights swing across the road in front of me. Love just letting the car switch on/off main beams for me. Not bored yet

Main beam assist? I've not heard of that. I assume it's different from the auto-lights function (where the light switch is turned to the left).

I like this (though it'd doubtfull I would have ordered it) but I find it switches to low beam a split second slower than if I was doing it manually.

I love

The CA, well cool just opening the door and locking it without operating a button first.

The Alpine up grade.

The six radio selection buttons that show up on the screen as your finger touches it.

The lights under the thin black internal door strips under the window line and in the back too.

The LED lights that show from the handles and the lights on the ground.

The plain black kidney grill and the slightly bigger tips.

The phone bluetooth system

and last but not least....

the winter tyres

All of the above plus "the kickdown" and the noise when you cane it through tunnels

I love...

> the flared arches and 'power bulge' . . .

> The subtle colour combo, just so bloody elegant . . .

> the way I can fit the whole family in without having our knees on the dash board . . .

> the way kids look in awe when you briefly hoof it in [m] mode . . .

> the fact I can do a 300 mile journey without being a nuvous wreck the other end . . .

> every morning when I press the START/STOP button . . .

I'm not bored in the slightest... and normally by now I'd be trawling through the ads looking for my next car . . .

I know Biscuits well, and he does like changing his cars! Mind you, I can't talk really, my BM is my 5th car since April 2006!!

Although mine is only a humble 318d, and isn't as fast as all you other guys on here, I love it's looks and styling. I've only seen one other Edition M Sport round where I live so nice to be a bit exclusive too!

I love the fact that my wife refuses to drive my car now I have put my private plate on (with slightly illegal lettering being her annoyance!)

It drives superbly an handles fantastically.
I get a great buzz every time I look out the window and see a BMW sitting on the drive.
Love the Sat nav & bluetooth, the lights under the door handles when you unlock the car, especially good at night.
