you'll be disappointed...reception sucks, your SD card that you can store MP3's on cant be made into ringtones (record company thing) overall i was told it was a big let down

i saw this sidekick 3...its awesome. it smaller with more features..i am thinking about getting one too. that means i have to switch carrier.

im not expecting toooo much. i only had a sidekick 2 for like a week, and i didnt like. but we will see. im just excited for the p990 still and bored of my w900. so this will keep my busy for all while.

i'd be curious to hear your feedback. I work for t-mobile (no i cant hook anyone up) and one of our sales manager has had it as a demo phone and he preferred the SKII more for the main reason that it sucks as a phone.

I totally forgot to tell you guys!!!!! it came today at around 12:30. 36 hours after ordering it!!! amazing delivery time.
the camera sucks. i think its like a little kids phone. there is nothing professional about it. but i will give a more detailed update later.

good question. and i cant answer it yet.... i havent had time to put ANY phonenumbers in the phone book. hahaha. so i cant say if they phone book will transfer. the very first time i paired the car, it wouldnt transfer the sound. i was PISSED. i hit the "transfer to bmw" button, and it hung up on the person. i was reaal mad. but then i got another call, hung up, called someone, hung, up and got ANOTHER call, and it worked. and sounded good. that was the last call i got in the car. so currently im 1 for 5. which sucks. BUT im hoping since the last one worked, it will work from now on. today and tomorrow are reaaaal hectic for me. so i will let you guys know saturday a better review of the phone, and the phone + Car.
if you guys have any other questions, ask em now.

I can't figure out how to open it! lol I've never used one of those things. They look kind of annoying to use but that could be just because I don't like gadgets really. It took me like 8 months to finally use my bluetooth

Any luck getting it to work again? I got my sidekick 3 on Thursday, I have been able to pair up both devices together, but no luck being able to make calls, receive calls, or answer calls via the BMW Bluetooth.

Anyone else have any luck?

Whould you be able to write the steps you took to connect the Sidekick to your BMW? I wounder if I'm missing a step or something.

it looks like you are doing the right thing, if you got your name there. i have idrive. so the steps would be different. i paired it the same way i paired my last phone, that worked perfectly. so im not sure. some people say that the very first time you pair your phone it could take a while to transfer numbers and stuff. blah blah. thats not what happened with my last phone. just cause a phone has bluetooth, dont mean its gonna work. its gotta have another feature. that i forget what its called. its like ofex transfer compatibility or SOMETHING. odex? odef? anyone?
