Lake Dolores ...

Those of you from Southern Ca, or Vegas that have taken the trip from Vegas to So Cal will know what this is. Lake Dolores is a random water park that opened in the 60s and failed, later on in 2000 it was renamed and they tried to reopen it, however once again it failed. Its not an abandoned water park thats been sitting empty for some time now. I have driven by it 1000x and decided to stop and check it out on Sat on my way home back to Vegas, luckly I had my Canon G9 P&S with me and shot some pics trying to show how errie the place is. So enjoy:

nice pics! lol now imagine someone turning all of that into a BIG track and a modding garage for nice exotics with ppl having photoshoots of lambos and bimmers on the rocks lol but then again.. theres always the historic site to it~

The park was seen on a episode of the MTV reality show Rob & Big. A professional skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek and his friends saw the waterpark and skateboarded slides (nearly killing themselves) until Rob's board fell into gross muck water and they then headed to Las Vegas for Drama's birthday party.

You gotta love wikipedia hahaha
