wtf? a promise ring?

my girlfriend says she wants a promise ring. the last time i looked, all the promise rings just look like bent hangers shaped into a heart.
anyone know where to get some nice looking ones? i'm not even sure if i should get her one though.

I got my wife a really nice ring when I was in Thailand.

But seriously, unless your girlfriend is the superficial type, do NOT go to tiffany's. Good stuff, but over-priced.

I would suggest a local independent jeweler. Usually you get better customer service and better prices. Just do some research on what you (or rather, she) wants.

Look at this way, bro... she wants to proudly display that she's taken and dating a cool guy. You like her? She's hot? She makes you smile? Do it. Go to a boutique (not a jewelry store) and pick something fun out that she likes. You can probably get one for ~ $100.

Here's the caveat, make sure the promise is to be faithful and not to get married. You're far too young for that kind of thing.

Dude, that looks more like an engagement ring rather than a promise ring LOL....I got my gf and I a set of Tiffany Atlas rings as "promise rings".....however I eventually proposed to her and will marry her in a few months.
