Idiot scratches my car while I'm in my car!

I was driving to work this morning and this homeless bum type crosses the street and walks behind my car and I heard some sounds on my car so I look back. It was a person and not a bird who messing with my car. So, when I arrive to work, I check the back of my trunk area and I saw light scratch mark. I can't believe people are so pathetic these days. The guy who did it was wearing a big jacket with a hood so he definately didn't wanted to be recognized. I didn't say or do anything only because I was at a busy intersection which was about to turn green.

That worries me, too. I'd love to take the Z4 to work, but my X5 has a big mark on the mirror from some shithead student with a backpack slamming it as he walked by. I'd hate to have the Z damaged, but I can't keep running the X5 into the ground by driving it 110 miles every day. I need to split the mileage between them. Life is an endless series of compromises.

i think incidents like that can contribute to the condition of the economy and how the "big 3" automakers are about to tank and all of the people who love american cars are bitter that there's so many people driving japanese and german cars instead of buying american. So I wouldn't be surprised if there was a correlation between the two. If i heard a noise like that and someone behind me I would have gotten out to double check

I only have a Toyota beater right now. It's got power windows/locks, cd player/tape player, a/c, heat, very comfortable cloth seats. Right now, I'm just like wtf this car is like I'm sitting in my living room. Plus I just hooked up this ipod adapter ($50 on ebay). LOL Sounds awesome and it charges my ipod. Why the hell should I even get a luxury car? LOL. Besides luxury cars are nothing but cop magnets and hater magnets. These are two elements I don't NEED in my life.

Case in point: I once did 20mph in 1st gear in my old 335i, cop pulled me over for speeding in a 35mph zone!!!
Now I can do 40mph in a 25mph (not that I do) and not one cop'll look at me.
somebody needs to invent some kind of protective film (kidna like the clearbra) but for entire panels- this would definitely help against keying, amongst other things like scratches/paint chips

Folks with exotics sometimes clearbra their entire car. The drawback is, of course, cost. It runs between 5k and 10k.

I'm really liking them and thinking about getting one in a year or so. They might not have the most powerful engine in the class, but I've hear the shifter and engine are one of the best combo's at any price level.

That's why I'm getting a Fit Sport leased when I start residency. No point of risking my nice car with people that don't give a shit
