Any Other Resolution Than Divorce???

so one of my older friends (24) is thinking about getting a divorce from his wife. they do have 1 kid though so it's tough on both of them to make the decision.

besides getting an official divorce are there any other solutions? is there a way to just stay married but have finances kept seperate and not joined?

well yea... can't get too detailed on it but wife and cc = fail, excuses being the child.

so besides a divorce, any other solutions like keeping financials seperate between husband/wife, etc?

You cant force two people who dont want to be together to stay married. Just let things play out. Sometimes divorce is the best option.

Who the hell is married WITH children at 24?

Tell him to cut his losses, leave the girl and start his life again. Just make sure you don't cheap out on supporting the kid, thats not cool.

My wife's cousin is currently getting a divorce. She was married at 22y/o and is getting a divorce not even 2 years later. No kids thank god.

We went out last night to release her back into the wild. We're doing it again officially when everything is finalized

. She is currently hung over and has stolen my spot in the bed

You know your friend is not the only one in this predicament. A lot of marriages are staying together cause they can't afford to separate and pay back their bad debt. It's funny I guess some can see this as a good thing and some might not.
