What would it be? I am feeling the black sapphire with red leather... Anyone can advise if you get the same problems with scratches and swirl marks as Jet Black?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=224876 There's more if you search. For the record: sometimes, when I get all bitchy about the fact that my car has a cleanliness half-life of three hours, I swear to myself that my next car will be silver or gray. Then I come to my senses, slap myself across the face, and realize that dark colors are the sexiest. |

In direct sunlight, either black (sapphire or jet) will be bad. If I lived in a place where it was overcast most of the time, I'd definitely stick with black... nothing looks hotter to me than a clean, black car. Unfortunately, I'm in LA, and hate that my car looks dirty the day after I wash it.
White and silver have both been pretty good for me in the past, I'd probably go with one of those. |

if i could choose the color again i would pick white or silver. Easy to hide the swirls and looks clean longer than a darker car. On my sparkling graphite i wash it the wrong way once, i get swirls. sucks

Have had many silver cars...they're practical and cooler in the hotter months, but always leave you wishing you had a darker color. Silver is just that...SILVER. Kinda there, kinda not. Don't know why I keep going back it. Maybe cause I hate washing cars every day.

I'm very happy with silver on my 335i, but thinking of an M3 for my next car and would probably choose AW for that (think it looks great with the M3 black roof contrasting the color of the car)

Did anyone choose a color based on what flattered the aggressive concave/convex door panels?
I was thinking JB at first, but then I realized from far away you can't really appreciate the angles of the car, only the profile. Monaco blue.. ohhh nice. I love silver, don't regret it, it's clean and you see everything on your car If I had TWO cars.. I would choose Monaco blue though |
