working from home can be great as long as you stay focused, that's if you actually want to get work done and keep your job. It can be way too distracting. but nice on those sh**ty days when you don't want to get out.

I work from home full time. I built up an amazing home office but I can rarely work from there as I get more work done sitting on my couch with my laptop in my lap than I do in my office. When I'm in my office, I keep getting side tracked and wanting to do shit on my home PC (play games, torrent, etc)

Short of that, working from home is awesome -- just have to be personally driven. It takes a lot more to stay focused.

I work from home.

Pros:
- No rush hour traffic.
- Book all meetings after 9am and nothing after 3pm.
- Sex when the wife is home and done cooking me lunch/dinner
- Never miss Thursday and Friday golf on TV
- Sleep in when I want to

Cons:
- Wanting to fap when bored (wait, that might be a pro)

I work from home now. (well not a choice after lay off)
After remodeling my room into a studio I can actually stay focused and actually more focused than when i was in the office.
But since I work in my pajamas half of time, it distracts me emotionally.
Also I miss all those free supplies and prining and copying...
Still good for now.

I work from home, and have done so for the past 6 years. I dread the day I'll have to go back into an office setting. It has it's pros and cons for sure, but the pros outweigh the cons.

But yeah, listening in on conference calls in the morning before a shower and getting dressed is nice. Sleep in until the last second, grab a cup of joe and jump on the call FTW!!

I find I'm more productive working at home then at the office.

Also, the best is when you're a required attendee for a conference call/meeting and answering it from the bed half-awake FTMFW. People won't know the difference other than my groggy voice right in the morning... but I have that worked out though, I have a bottle of water next to my bed... just a quick gulp of h2o and I"m good to go
