Gap between headlight and bumper

Do you guys have a gap between headlight and bumper?
I was installing my painted reflector and found a small a gap between headlight and bumper at left side! and Right side has no gap at all!
Is that normal? or I should take it to dealer for adjustment?

It's between the bottom of the headlight and the body. Water would just drip into the engine bay. You can only see it if you get within foot of the car.

I have it too.. it's very normal, in fact I went to the dealership to confirm that it was normal and I saw some brand new BMWs that had that gap.. it's just a manufacturing defect (lets just say it)... and all cars have some sort of manufacturing defect, which may or may not be visible depending on where it is... Regarding headlights, they're sealed (by design) so even if you remove your bumper (crazy thing) and wash your car, water will still not go into your head lights.. haha!

It Is Not Normal

yes, mine had it to, it seem like one of the locking switch on the right side is defective. whenever i open my hood i have to "recenter" the locking device and shut it to close the hood completely.

I can open/close my hood without doing this and I've confirmed it's normality with the dealer....

Our gap doesn't look to be as bad as it is on the E82. Take a look at theirs some time. Ours, you really kind of have to be looking for it to notice it. Theirs, not so much....

Manufacturing "tolerances" is probably a better term than defect, because there really isn't anything wrong with the parts, its just that there are accepted (small) tolerances/variances in the fit an finish during the manufacturing process. but yeah, its normal. there are things that are not going to be perfect all the time.

Like it it's smaller than Octomom's vag, it's within tolerance?
