Just bought for $14 US.

I'm not that thrilled. Anyone else?

$14 that's it? How can you not be thrilled with it for $14. (No knowledge of this game other than I saw a vid a while back and graphics were amazing)

There was a sale on Steam.

In my opinion there is a lot of rinse wash repeat. Crysis is better.

I didn't get FarCry 2, but I did get the weekend special on Steam for those four UBISOFT Games for $9.99. I'm not at my home computer as I'm at work, but I think they were: Might & Magic Dark Messiah (pretty good for the 20 min I've played it so far), FarCry (only played for 10 min, looks great), some airplane game (watched the 5 minute tutorial on bombing runs; it looks complicated), and Beyond Good and Evil (haven't played yet).

If I like FarCry 1, I'll look into FarCry 2. Is FarCry 1 good? Honestly, I have so much on my plate right now. I've gone through a lot of personal tragedy over this past month. Then I receive a PS3 and some games for my birthday. I'm still finishing Okami on Wii. I have a friend peer-pressuring me to get back into WoW. My GF wants me to Co-op her in RE5.

I don't know how I used to do it, but I used to finish games on a weekly basis back in middle school/high school. You can blame my 9-5 and not enough time for games, or maybe I'm out growing them...but man, when you really think about it...games are long!

I got it from a friend. He said he didn't like it.
It was interesting when I played it at first, but after finishing 28% of the game, I couldn't see anything new happening. Too much repetition.

Sucks, but for $15 its great if you got it for the PC. The map editing is the only good thing.

It is pretty fun, but gets redundant after a while. Kinda hard to stay interested and do all the side quests. Once you hit like 50% you get to go to a new place, so you got an entirely new map.
