Any way to "save" this picture in PS?
Took some shots of my daughter playing soccer today, and I got this one of them playing around on the sidelines. The lighting is tough because my daughter's face is in the shadows, so it doesn't look ideal.
I don't have the skills in PS to fix it, so I'm wondering if some of you more experienced types could do some tweaks? Ideally, a brief description of the changes would be a beneficial learning experience as well. Larger versions available on Flickr. I've got the NEF raw file too, but it is 11MB.... Thanks!

Thanks! I think lightening it up and maybe a little color correction in the shadow areas will help a lot.
I was wondering what the "dodge" tool did. I've read some magazine articles talking about "dodge and burn", but I wasn't sure what they were doing with those tools exactly. I've only had PS for a few days, so I'm lucky to know how to start the thing really! Time to find a local class for it I suppose.
