tiny chip in the front windshield (1cm), will warranty fix it?

bought the car used, 2006 E90 330i with 25k, so 1 year left on its warranty. will it cover that type of damage? there are no cracks, it's just a chip in the window, maybe from a rock.

um no. warranty is for things that break because of poor quality - ex if your windows stop working or your steering wheel falls off... Not for rocks that hit your car and damage your windshield.

Lol, no the warranty is not for damage caused from rocks. Just pay the $40 to fill the chip.

Pay the money now or it'll spread out and then you'll be talking big bucks AND its illegal in some states to have a cracked windshield while driving.

Most insurance companies will have a company come out to fill the chip and not charge you a deductible. I have done this a number of times.
