Spam? Got a call regarding my warranty

So an automated women on voicemail tells me to "not make the mistake of driving without a warranty, it's not too late to call before your warranty expires"

I called the number and there's another automated man saying "if you would like to be placed on the do not call list press 1"

Is this spam?

yes. my friend and i both got the call within 10mins of each other. He happens to drive a 86 or 87 Porsche 944. So he called to see if he could get one. Hilarity ensued

One time, I got the call, and within 3 minutes, my GF who was sitting shotgun got the exact same call, from the exact same number.

They're not telemarketers, they're criminals and fraud perpetrators.

This was on the news a few months ago, I remember getting mine right before I heard about it too. They use this 'warranty' excuse to get personal information from you.

These F*ckers always call me work cell phone number...and I repeatedly keep pushing the number 1 for them to take me off the list, but they never do and keep calling.

So they actually called me today and this time I agreed to talk to someone, when that person answered I said "take me off your list"....the guy said "OK" and hung up on me...haha jackass.

He sounded like he was in a crowded airport eating lunch
