Connection off postive battery wire...

Working on installing my M3 wheel, so I go and disconnect the negative battery terminal in the trunk. I notice a connection off the the positive battery wire. Anyone out there know what this connection id for? I might have pulled it loose but I am not sure. Here is a pic.

It's for the battery disconnect switch used during shipping.

So I assuming that this is normal? And will not affect anything....
