No wiper fluid

I seem to be having a problem with my wiper fluid pump. Is that a normal problem? When I try to wash the windshield nothing comes out. Yes, I did make sure it is full of fluid.

No. It's not normal. Off to the dealership.

My windshield pump failed right after the car was one year old. No warning, just quit. Not unusual on these cars.

that's an oxymoron. It's not normal if your windshield fluid tank is full and nothing is coming out.

to the OP, you can always get some fluid at any store if you aren't near a dealership too

Just had the same issue....fluid was full but the pump didn't 'work'. Took it to dealer and they cleaned the screen located at the reservoir tank. Solved! They say that if you let the tank run dry, tiny particles from the tank bottom clog the screen.
