Wind noise above 90mph

Keep getting this noise that sounds like wind leaking through from the right rear (with windows closed). Its a 335i coupe built 2007. Aquired August 2008 and have always had this problem when car was in my possession.

Only happens when going above 90mph. Dealers say they can't do anything about it coz its illegal to go at that speed.

Anyone encounter this problem and any solutions?

You could always drive at 70mph and abide by the law. Lets hope no police are reading!

I haven't experienced it at well over 90mph so perhaps there is something wrong.

How bad is it?

It doesn't impact on the drive or control of the car. My only concern is that it may perhaps be a sign that heralds some other impending disaster.

same here

We all know bmw spends millions per day for R&D and wouldnt be surprised if they said "ok that good because it will deter our users from speeding" they probably tuned the door trim to remind us we are speeding.

I have the same whistle sound over 85MPH, at least it is not a harsh sound....

Read below if you dont understand how they spend a few million $ per day...

"millions per day" is a function of how many people they have working in their R&D department times their salary plus physical capital spent on associated products they have to buy/maintain to do the research and development.

Should make sense now...

You drive pretty fast hah. I drive fast myself, but keep the "need for Speed" urge under control.

British police cant catch shit with their V70's and Diesel Astra's. Just hire Nick freeman if you get caught by a Gatso.

About the noise, listen to some music or watch some porn.
