Anyone been or know Dutterrer's Park in Westminster, MD ?

need assist from Maryland Bimmeristas to asked if anyone been or know the
Dutterrer's Park in Westminster, MD area.
contemplating of doing a Active Event there, and looking at google maps seems like a 2 hrs drive from Alexandria Va
the question I have in mind is:

Is it better to take 495-295 Gaitherburg and cut to route 27 to it
or
I95 towards Baltimore-695w-)796N)Reisterstown-(route40)Westminster ?

you'll be better off using rt 27 assuming its not during a high traffic time. then your pretty F'd either way you go.

I've gone from Westminster down to allsportsgp in Dulles and I went 27->70 etc. (via GPS). I wouldn't really think about going the other way. Hopefully you are going against traffic, though.

I didnt realized Murrland hides some cool small towns, I though they were all in Va

I went ahead and took 270-rt 27, was a pleasant morning drive. It was a one lane double yellow line road, it was a painfull 35 mph being behind a soccer mom van or a truck sometimes. After crossing I70 Mt Airy it was smooth sailing 50+mph twd Westminster w/ beautiful rolling country hills

thks alot guys,
