Does spending 3 hours detailing 2 wheels make me OCD

Finally getting them ready to mount on the M3. Got the tires yesterday but they sent the wrong size for the fronts. Got the rears road forced today and spent a few hours detailing the wheels.....:eyecrazy

Still need to apply a coat or two of wheel wax, but so far they have been washed, clayed, SIP'd, and sealed....next wax. Thats all I can do to keep myself from going nuts that the car isnt here. Also just received my new seats (which are flippin sweet), headlights, fogs, lip, catch can and tomorrow head unit. This weekend will be fun assuming I get my car back tomorrow (getting a few custom exhaust things done).

here you go old school BBS hotness

cant wait to mount them and give these back to Mark....thanks man, and sorry for the abuse to the rears :devillook.

once they are mounted, I will finally take some real shots and change my sig

You didnt give Ann's car that attention while you were ripping it apart.

BTW: Please leave the caps on. If you dont then they look like TSW Hockenheim's.

I Don't know what "ocd" means....but I love the wheels. Can't wait to see some pics of the seats either. Just make sure you install your harnesses correctly.....I can't help thinking of the pick with that guys balls hanging down due to an improper installation.

lol, actually not using harnesses, at least for now. The mounting brackets I got use the factory seat belt.

Ha ha...I should have known that. Now that I'm on the right page, hell no you're no ocd....the best (and easiest) time to work on your wheels is before you put them on your car. When I got my Morr vs7's a few years ago I had then lying in the middle of my great room for hours....claying, sealing, then waxing. My wife wasn't too happy.

Is OCD when you polish exhaust that you will never see?

HAHA I was thinking the same thing last night after I spent an 2 hours on 4 wheels. Although I didn't wax them or even get rid of all the pits still felt like forever. I figured I'd better dust off the E36 for the AutoX school tomorrow.

Corbeau CR1's in leather.....love them, cant wait to get them in the car. I'm looking for an upholstery shop to put some custom motorsport slashes on the seats in leather as well.

like this photoshop I did of the seats.

You slacker.

I got you beat Matt.
I just spent an hour in the pouring rain washing the car to get the tire marks off of it after yesterdays drifting activities.
Now that is OCD.

Anyone have a good tip on easily removing the residue from the wheel balance weights. Goo Gone does not work well.

Goo gone is one of the most potent things out there. Just pour on the whole bottle.
