ive decided on getting the 335i - montego blue, sport package, CA, black leatherette, aluminum trim, 6 mt. i have to pay for the options and my dad is paying for the base price. (its a graduation + birthday gift) i have almost 5 gs in my account but dont want to spend it all. i also plan on getting tints, chrome rims, and maybe a sub + amp depending on how good/bad the logic 7 bass is. i figure im paying $1945 in options and about $2000 in mods. any other ideas? suggestions? comments?
about chrome rims, im thinking about chroming out the ZSP rims, is that done at the dealership? think it will look good?

If I were you, I might spend more time lobbiying your dad to pay for insurance as well. Twin turbo, 300HP, BMW repair rates for a new graduate (I assume either college or H.S.) -- might not be pretty.

I think it would be in your best interest to order the premium package. Don't

chrome the rims. the sport pack rims 189 are great. chroming the rims will

just put uneccessary weight on the car... the logic 7 is great, don't waste

money on more stereo equipment. If you really want blue, I'd go with

the black leather interior with the aluminum trim, that will look great..

buy him a car... oh yeah, order the sat radio, this a great option, I could listen to howard stern all day long..

..The 198 ZSP 18" rims look so great as is; IMHO I would not chrome them... I'm actually happy there is a minimum of chrome on the 335i. I am tempted to paint out all of the limited chrome on the car to body color.. Window outline and kidney grill a-la what someone on here did with a Monaco Blue E90 grill....

my dad really didnt want to get me anything. it was my mom that promised me if i got into a really good school (USC) that she would buy me a BMW. honestly she didnt think i would get in and she just said that so i would work harder. now because my dad makes all the money, hes buying me a new car.
