So this is my dad's baby, and he needs some extra cash these days, so hes enlisted me to sell it for him. I've wanted this car for soo many years, but just can't afford to buy it off of him

He bought this car brand new in 1979; it was his first "New" car, and he has owned and taken great care of it ever since. He and my mom were actually going shopping for an engagement ring...but the jewelry store was closed, and the Mazda dealership was open!!!

(My mom did eventually got that ring...)

I am a regular contributer on E46fanatics (user name: DinanTouring), and have purchased and sold many things before in the past.

Here is what my dad wrote on the ebay article he just posted:

> 50/50 Front/Rear weight ratio

> Rare first year of iconic, light-weight (2,385 lbs!!!), rear-wheel drive sports coupe.

> This example is an early 79 model, one of the first sold in the United States (factory build date is actually 78).

> Always Garaged! Car has been waxed and polished yearly since 79.

> Never raced or modified with after market parts.

> Comes with all factory Mazda emblems, and full size spare with extra stock wheel

man if this was an FC or FD I'd be all over it. Always wanted an 88 Turbo II or an FD as a project car. GL w/ the sale on a sweet ass RX7 though.

Thanks! Yeah, it is super clean- I've never seen an SA22C in as good shape as this one!
If I could find the money, I want to buy it off my dad and swap a twin-turbo 13B in there. With a little tuning, itd easily be making 400 at the wheels...
