Godmmit, can I get a straight forward answer. The manual says that the DTC button should be engaged when on like Icy roads or some shit like that. So hitting that will disengage DSC but will activate DTC. Is this what is supposed to happen??

just leave the car alone

don't touch the button

the manual DOES NOT say to turn off traction control on icy roads.

it says you can turn it off to get rolling when STUCK in mud or ice, then you should turn it back on.

once again, for your own good don't touch that button

I am feeling kind today:
If you briefly hit the DSC button, then you will turn off DSC and activate DTC.
This is indicated by the DSC light.

If you hold the DSC button, then you will completely turn off all traction control.
This is indicated by the DSC light AND the yellow parking brake light.

You're going to sleep for that long?

The poor guy asks a simple question but is too lazy to reach for the manual that is only 5 secs away...
To the OP, please listen to ward: DO NOT mess with this button unless you're truly used to the car and know what you're doing, ie. know how to handle an oversteer. Otherwise, you may end up on the local news unnecessarily.
