A. A/C switch for the center console (O = Off, I = ON)
B. Coin Holder C. Battery in back for weight distribution ... and if I had to guess, I would say that the red thing is for the pyrotechnic battery disconnect, but I could be wrong. oh, and it's 325i

actually, a 12oz pop can fits great in there, or a tall iced drink from SBUX (sans straw)

I found out just now that i have the split armrest which is movable, i didn't know it, as the cars here come in one package only, so after 4.000 km and seeing the above poist i was looking for the coinholder, which i don;t seem to have, and then find out by accident that my armrest is not only split but actually moves separately even better then the coinholder !

Wait a minute, the 325i comes with beverage coolers built into the cup holders? Is that something they added to recent production models or was that there when the E90 was released? |

LOL - I didn't know those slots in the second pic were for coins; I always assumed they were for a/c circulation -

Actually that a/c thing works really well. It makes the whole armrest like a little fridge. I turned it on by accident and took my ipod out and it was freezing cold. I still haven't actually used it to cool a drink down. |
