My new Pearl White BMW Touring Bike- PICS!
Hey everyone. Just wanted to share some pictures of my newest 2-wheeled BMW. This baby is muscle-powered and rides like a dream! I took delivery of it at the BMW Welt in Munich and got the 5 star treatment. For those of you that know bikes, here are the details:
Frame: Aluminium, front suspension, BMW design with integrated BMW logo, single-colour fi nish in pearlwhite (powder-coated) Fork: Suntour NRX 6500 Magnesium telescopic fork with aluminium steerer, 75 mm travel with speed lockout function, integrated mudguard mounting, Gloss Black Handlebar: MTB lowriser aluminium, 580 mm, black Stem: BMW original Cruiser titanium (adjustable) with integrated BMW Logo Crank set: KRG Truvativ ISOfl ow 1.0 PowerSpline 38 teeth, Lenght 170 mm Brakes: Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes with Evo Adapter Hubs: SRAM Hub Dynamo I-light D4 silver, QR Type, SRAM 9-speed I-motion with coaster brake, 19 teeth Rims: Rodi Airline Plus, 19-559 with eyelets, 32 hole system, burnished sides, silver Tyres: Continental Contact with reflective stripes, 26 x 1.75 Drive: SRAM I-motion 9-speed internal Shift lever: SRAM 9-speed twist shifter Chain: Wippermann Intrax 707 Saddle: Selle Royal M-flex Saddle stem: Kalloy, lenght 350 mm, D = 27.2 mm, black Seat clamp: BMW Design red Road fittings; Mudguards in black, lights with light sensor, standing light function, kickstand, pump, bell Luggage rack: Ragtime BMW Design, black Chain case: Hebie Chainglider 350 for 38 teeth Pedals: Alu with reflectors Weight: 17.3 kilograms. I have to admit I've never seen nor heard of a 2 wheeled bimmer but love the "individuality" (get it Ev?) it brings to the table! I happen to really like the look ....... especially when coupled with the other ride! First mod HAS to be a roof rack ...... uh, for the car that is |

looks nice, but how much is it?
I dont know.. If I didnt know any better, i'd think the bike is a poser by having bmw logos. :P nice bike though.

I am in the field...that was MAJ Davis....he has permission to drive my car while I'm out here...plus if he wrecks...hes got enough money to buy me a new one =)...so youre not gonna be around by the time we get back? I thought I was suppose to take you for a spin in my M before you took off...
