Price difference between equally equipped 330xi vs 335i
Being in Long Island, NY I'm stuck in the i vs XI debate. If there were a 335XI coming in November, then I'd just assume get the XI and be done with it. I read countless threads here at e90 and other boards, yet I'm still on the fence. It's basically brought me to 330XI vs 335i. Putting the cost of AWD aside, what is the end cost difference between an equally equipped 330i vs 335i? With the 335i coming in September, I'd venture to say deals can be had on 330's. I'm open to any and all suggestions on the topic. FWIW, I work from home and my current vehicle is an SUV with AWD.
This would be a purchase - not a lease, so resale value is also a consideration. Thanks for your input. |

You can do a search and find the numbers for both cars. I can't tell you off the top of my head.

I personally think AWD is overrated.
My old 330ci with snow tires handled better in the snow than my A4 with all seasons. Snow tires help so much more when needing to stop or turn. But if you dont want to swap wheels every season then yea, go for the XI.

I loved my Audi TT in the snow, but I swapped out my summer tires for snows each year.

Well im sure if both rwd and awd had snow tires then the AWD would be the better setup.
But you still should be ok with snow tires on rwd, just use common sense.
