found way to drive with angel lights ON
well I just realise today that I found the way to run with angel lights ON w out the headlights,
I turn off the daytime running lights, and turn on the parking lights and I'm able to drive with the angel lights on, and I'm going to change the bulbs for the turn signals for a clear ones so it looks better, I'm not sure if in other states is illegal but here in South Florida no one give a shit, police don't say anything, and everybody love the way they look :rocks: well just in case do it at your own risk |

that's what we told you on your last thread. That's what turning on the parking lights do, angels + side signals

well I don't know if you have idrive but if you don't go to menu go to the go down up to you see like a logo with a lock click go down and you will see a lock with a sun click and then chose off.
If you don't get it I can take some pictures however I have read in some threads that sometimes you are unable to turn the running lights off, bu I don't know why |

Of course, DRL's are head lights so they will always put ALL the lights on.
But I found that if i acivate daytime runing lights, they won't come on unless i leave the light switch on 'auto'. So all DRL does is over-ride the light sensor and put the lights on all the time that the car is running. With DRL off I have usual full control of the lights and use parking lights (called side lights in UK) a lot as they look soooo cool.

I was diving with angel lights on during the day but forgot to turn the light off one day. I came back to the car 5 hours later and the battery was already drained! I had to jump start the car.
It's too easy to forget to turn the light off, especially during the day. |

he's saying you're late to the party, as this information is not 'news' but 'olds'
and when you're a late to a party, you are usually the designated bitch to get more beer for the party if you didn't bring any with you boy, it sucks to explain a joke eh, doesn't seem funny when you explain it but rchanou that was a good one Quote:

how did you forget? I tried to leave my cars parking lights on one time by accident and as I exited the car it beeped like crazy at me and put up a warning in the dash that I'd left my parking lights on |
