dead climate system?
Today, about 85*F outside, I put in Auto and set to 65* even for passenger. But no air at all coming from any vents, I see 3 bars though. I even hit the "max Cool" button, I can hear a lot of wind noise, but no air going out at all. It looks like something is block the air to come out.
anyone have this problem before? I searched this forum and it seems like I am only the unlucky one. help... |

Same problem? Were you driving a long time? There have been other posts about screwy A/C that are similar to the one I linked.

See if air is coming out on the windscreen vents by your center speaker (if you have Logic7). If it is, then the vent motor may be failing. Ever since the E46, every time you switch off your car the system directs all air to the windscreen so if the system fails when you next start the car you will at least be able to demist the screen.

Also, once every ten engine stops the system will perform a full test of its ventilation system by moving the motors to the full extremes of their range. |
