network issues...
I get the same company for my internet and cable tv (east link). After I got my cable box for my tv installed, I noticed that my internet connection got slower. Is thin normal? Can I help it? Since I do pay more for the added service, I think I should get increased bandwidth.

To the OP - no, your internet bandwidth/speed should not be effected because you also have cable TV. I have Rogers here in Ontario (TV & Internet) and the internet is just fine.
The Cable TV, however, is also fine |

OP - check out www.dslreports.com and go to tools>tweak tests
it'll show you if your comp is setup right (if you have vista, never mind) |
