I think thats a lot of money, but don't find it shocking. My friend had spent $20k on mods on his acura integra. Considering that BMW's are already so damn expensive to modify, I think that its proportionately equal to what my friend spent.

Took delivery of vehicle end of June. Spent approximately $1500 so far. That's a lot for me...sigh. That amount will probably balloon to $2500 by the end of summer with sways and an exhaust.

The funniest ones are always the Max Power brigade from the UK. They start with some pile of shite budget hatch and then proceed to spend so much money on it and end up with a bespoilered pile of shite. For the same money they could have had a Boxster!

I don't mod... I ENHANCE. no modification to stock pieces... even if the stock part isn't on the car anymore... hahahah, but I calculated that by the time I'm done with my wishlist of ENHANCEMENTS (okay, one requires modifcation of stock parts, so enhancements and 1 mod), I'll be just over $10k, but I'm guessing by that time there will be something else available that I'll want... and I dunno if I can resist the urge... ohhh the moddiction! hahaha
