Quick info needed: 335i at BMWNA in Chicago

Hey,

I think i might be able to stop by the BMWNA place in Shaumburg on my way to a flight in Midway this afternoon to get a look at my baby. (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25545)

1) Is the car still there?
2) What is the exact adress of BMWNA at where on the lot should i look for the car.
3) Is it a short trip from BMWNA to Midway?

If you are referring to the e90 335i that was spotted in the Chicago suburb Schaumberg that was at a dealer Patrick BMW and not a BMW NA office. Midway is good ride from Schaumberg and with any sort of traffic I would allow a minimum of 2 hrs to get to Midway from Schaumberg.

Anyway I doubt the car is still there as I think it was just there for training for the service department so I'm sure it has moved on to other locations.

I head on the Picture forum that it is definatly not at Patrick BMW and definately at BMWNA in Shaumburg

Great, im going to try to lave South Bend at 12 EST make it to Shaumburg and then to Midway in time for my 330 EST flight.

Unless someone can tell me that the car is not there.

The address is at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Basswood Road in Schaumburg. A good address to put in is 392 Commerce Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60173

Hey, Sstarch1. Good luck finding the e92. Do you go to Notre Dame? I used to work on the radio at U93. We did remotes at Heartland and Club Landing, etc. I used to hang at the Linebacker from time to time too, big student hang out.

Wow, I didn't know I live 5 min. away from BMWNA.

My house is located just north of that map.

That yahoo map link is pointing at Motorola HQ. It looks like BMWNA is south of I-90.

Midway airport to Schaumburg, IL will take about 45 min with no traffic and upto 2~3 hours with traffic. If you flew into O'Hare, it would have been about 25 min.

yeah, the place you're looking for is south of I-90. It's dead nuts at the end of Bassman. Can't miss it. The lot's full of BMWs.

Alright, i missed my flight
but it was worth it.

The car is beautiful in person. I talked to some guy and he was really nice, said there is a 335i inside the building that is under a tarp.

Really, im really tired b/c its 2AM, and ill post more tomorrow, morning, but again, its gorgeous, lovely, and i cant wait to see it in sparkling grpahite which i think will be much more impressive than silver. The wheels are magnificent.

Congrats on seeing the car. You mentioned there is a 335i inside. Is the titanium silver 335i still outside there? Thanks and sorry you missed your flight. I am thinking about driving to Chi-town to see it (about a 4 hour drive).

Thanks to the post, I went down there tonight to check it out. Sure enough, the same car is parked outside in the lot. Looks great. Def looks better in person.

BMWNA is in a few places. BMW North America is in huge letters on the side of the building. So your wrong.

BMW HQ for North america is in New Jersey.

from O'Hare would've been much faster, but like everybody said, allow yourself about 2 hrs if you catch the rush hour traffic, even though, recently, we have a rush hour 24/7

The BMW HQ in Schaumburg has a huge sign labeled Central Region. I am happy to hear though that everyone that has seen it in person is saying the exact same thing that I am. It is a beautiful car once you see it in the flesh.!!! Can't wait to get my hands on one!
