Sport seats without SP for the E92?

Hi,

I recently read on one of these threads (can't recall which) that the sport seats that one would normally only get when ordering the Sports Package, were now the standard seats (even w/o SP) on the new 335i (and maybe 328i).

Was this poster correct?

Otherwise, what if you order the 'stand alone' leather option for an E92 -- do/can you get the sport seats (w/o buying the SP) or do you still get the more plainly designed std. ones (even though you're shelling out an additional $1,450)?

Thanks,

No....you have to order the Sports Package to get them on the E92, or the E90 for that matter.

I believe in the E92 :

$1,000 ZSP includes...

1. Style 189, 18" wheels (awesome)
2. Sport power seats
3. Different speed limiter, allowing 155mph top speed (yikes)

'sport' suspension i believe is 'standard' on the E92 (coupe)

how is the sport steering wheel different? DOes it add additional functionality of buttons or is it materials or both?

You don't know the difference? If you hold the Sport steering wheel once, you won't go back to the normal one. It looks and feel great. With the sport steering wheel, you can upgrade to the M-Sport steering wheel later for less than $200. Anyone who touches the M-sport steering wheel would end up loving it.

Upgrading to the 'M' steering wheel from hte 'ZPP' steering wheel.... what would that add?
