Would like to have an M3 of course, but since I'm not crazy enough to spend what little wealth I got, the 335i is good enough for me Plus I can mod it up and be satisified, though I'm not too into modding. I'd like an M5 one day!

M3 for:
Looks - check!
Performance - check!
Price - umm yea, about that... sanity check!

Next investments on the horizon for me would be a house and a wife LOL, not necessarily in that order

IS there really going to be an M3 E90? The PDC guys (not that they'd necessarily be the experts) thought it unlikely we'd get a sedan but there would be a ZHP for the 335 instead

I think for most of us 3'er folks, the M3 is our "mecca" it's just those darn payments that keep us planted in reality.

I dont get it, what years are you comparing? 2006 M3 vs. 2007 335i?

The poll is pretty vague, since EVERYBODY, if price were the same, would take an M3 over the 335i.

The 335i is better than 2004 and earlier M3's, and worse than 2005 and newer M3's. There is no real change in the design years, but 2004 M3's are going for 40k to 45, or, just a little less than a mostly loaded 2007 335i. Between those two, Id take the 335i. Now, if you want to give me a 2005 or 2006 ZCP M3, yeah, I'll take that over the 335i, for the same money. The 2007 335i however is clearly a WAY better value and isnt outdated and in the process of being replaced.
