fault code diagnosis

Help...I need someone who can translate "BMW" repair order speak...

A week ago, when I inserted the fob in my 2006 330, I completely lost power...no BMW assist, locks, trunk, etc...totally dead. While on the phone with roadside assistance, car appears to "reboot" itself - all power returns, lost time/date but not bluetooth pairing or radio presets. Checked the battery cables (all tight) and drove to the dealer.

Got it back from dealer today with diagnosis "Fault A731 and JBE defective - required the SSS to change the vehicle order and encode the entire car

anyone else seen this? any service whiz that can tell me what the specific fault and what the fix was?

thanks -

basically your indole anode and your fornacious loops rings weren't communicating.. that is there was a error in diode-diode mating which allowed overcooling of the over/under element. Now, as far as replacing the JBE (Jack-Bratt Emplonder)... well that's just pretty self-explanatory... goes along with the A731 fault. Frankly, I'm surprised you didn't have to buy an entirely new gasmolifying agent (fault AF/Y56-89.012) If you have any more questions let me know....I'm always happy to help.

wow - glad that is all it was!

I was afraid it was the Fetzer valves, and the dealer was all out of Quaker State and Gauze Pads...
