I used to live on Long Island and have quite a few friends in Jersey, so I can tell you much about it... What do you want to know about it???

Depending on where u want to move to.

There's a reason why I posed the question I did, thanks.

As far as specifics, there was a job applicant the company I currently work for flew out for an interview, I got to chatting with him and he gave me a brief overview of some of the nicer parts of Jersey. He kept bringing up Hoboken, said it's a great place if you like be out on the go and have things to do(perfect place for a younger person), and that's it's only so far outside of N.Y. (Manhattan specifically), if I wanted to go in and out of the city on weekends and what not. Being that I'm from the west coast, it's kind of hard to imagine life elsewhere, but I'm about where the oppurtuniites are for whatever I define as "personal sucess".

Hoboken is great if you work in the city....your blocks away from the path train and right in between the holland and lincoln tunnels. THe large portion of people who live in hoboken are young professionals (25-35) who work in Manhattan. ALot of good bars and good places to eat. Hoboken is like a nicer slightly slower paced (stress on the slightly) manhattan. My girlfriend lives in hoboken, my only complaints are the cost of living (rent is kinda high) and the parking can be a pain in the ass.

Sounds like a not so bad compromise. If I do get the job I will be working out of Woodcliff. I'll be interning for the company next summer of the summer after, so I'll get a better feel for the surroundings then.
