Looks as if the UK gets a CF diffuser! I can understand your feeling hard done by, but objectively I actually prefer your more sober black plastic. PM the OP to make sure he didn't pay extra for the CF.

no not true I have UK one and its in black plastic, I pm'd this member with the very same question but got no reply. Somewhere else here someone said a CF defuser was £275 so I think this is what this member did.

I bought mine in Germany, also black plastic.

RIEGER sells CF (look-a-like) mirrors, probably this also.

Not done on a 320si, MUST remain standard on a limited edition car !

just my 2 cents.

Did anyone ever compare the 320i to the 320si ? I wonder what the fuss is all about (except for it beiing a limited edition). I wonder what the performance gains are over the normal 320i ... anyone got ring times for these two ?

It's an homologation special to allow the WTCC car go on track.

320i:

150bhp@6200 min-1 / 200Nm@3600 min-1
Topspeed in km/h 220
Acceleration 0 - 100 km/h in sec 9,0
Elasticity 80 - 120 km/h (in IV) in sec 9,1

320si:

173bhp@7000 min-1 / 200Nm@4250 min-1
Topspeed in km/h 225
Acceleration 0 - 100 km/h in sec 8,8
Elasticity 80 - 120 km/h (in IV) in sec 8,2

If I had to choose between the 320i M-sport or a 320si, I should go for the 320si, if only for the CF enginecover and the specially designed wheels (also possible as an aftermarket option from BMW).

The 320si is a little bit faster in real world driving, but you have to keep the revs up high, otherwise there's hardly no difference
