As I predicted around 65K for a e92 M3 with options.

If those prices are accurate, an M3 with the options of my 330 would be in the low $60k's. Actually, thats not too bad considering that the E46 M3 I almost ordered was going to cost about $55k without navigation (which I included when calculating the E90/92 M3).
The price is VERY tempting, but 400+ hp is a bit much for a daily driver. I don't even get to use my current 255hp. But for a weekend car, that would be GREAT. But I promised myself that my first "weekend" car will be a Porsche.

weird that a US-spec car wouldn't have the power and torque output quoted in horse power and lbs-ft.
also, thought the m3 would come with 19's stock since the 330i and 335i come with 18's.

I could definetely use the extra horses to pass people in one-lane each-way streets. My 330i just doesn't have the power to pass in some spots when I want to. |

Yeah sure!
The car is still in development. In latest FEP phases. Still ... Have you ever seen pricing list being out before the car even being announced? Or worse: when still being in development ... I wouldn't bite ... The engine specs are from Ricardo 'New engines News' "magazine" where they publish a list of "reports" about the engines in development by specific car manufacturer. It's just a prediction. They also "predicted" BMW 3.6L I6 NA coming in 2006 ... Sounds familiar? You can buy that "magazine" at Ricardo e-store. Price: "only" $305. |

Wow, that's quite a bit less than I expected, if true. Does this mean the car is much closer to launch than we thought?
The only problem is -- SMG!!!!!!!! Where is the trick new transmission a la DSG???? |
