BMW's upcoming advertising campaign: The Story of Joy

This is a pretty neat video compilation of what BMW has on offer currently. And by the sounds of it, this will become the advertising slogan of the season for BMW. They have already used the Joy theme for 2 recently released BMW vehicles and they plan to expand the theme at the IAA Frankfurt show that will see the X1 and 5erGT as well as supposedly an all new car under the effiency title that is said to be the Z2, a small, lighter and more agile Z car.

Here is a translation of the monologue from the video:

cool, i like how they used a clip from bimmerfest 09 !!!

I do remember that girl waving that flag at the entrance to the polo golf grounds, it was truly memorable time.

Pretty cheesy IMO. Just picture is much better

BMW has been trying to get away from "The Ultimate Driving Machine" slogan for years and it looks like they are now going to use "Joy of Driving" as a world wide slogan. BMW has been using the Joy of driving in Europe, but not here.

Love it , but the real driving pleasure / freude slogan is better than the joy one imo ...

Everyone knows it and it has a serious tone to it, that everyone accepts because it's true. Joy sounds too jolly

Hi all!
Just saw this new BMW commercial TV spot in the german television.. i hope this isnt a repost. I think there is one sequenz of a big bimmer-meet in the US.. maybe someone can confirm?

The title is "Freude ist BMW" ... AND it starts with the 1er convertible
