thats funny that photo has been the background on my macBook for awhile now. love that car, but i doubt anyone on this forum has one. there was less than 300 built. i read somewhere that the last one sold at auction went for something like 5.6 million. it might have been chassis #1 to go for that much. but they usually go for around a million or so these days. i forgot what christies got for the one they sold.

Isn't that a cool museum? I was driving back to Frankfurt from Munich and saw the Tupolov and Concorde from the road and pulled off. It was great to see all of the cool cars, especially the Bugatti 57's and 31's. Some of the vintage bikes were really cool too.

Looks strictly fine but i think the sinful 300SL or a gentlemanly DB5 would be my chariot if i wanted one of these cars. I dont want to be impaled by a few tonnes of auto when this thing rolls over and lands upside down.
